We realize that RSS usage has exploded in the past few years, so we made sure to include RSS support in Porchlight. You can subscribe to a global feed of all the projects you have access to and see the recent activity instantly. Need more granular RSS? Each project in your Porchlight has its own RSS feed as well.
If you use Apple's iCal or Mozilla Calendar, you can also subscribe to a calendar of all your projects' upcoming milestones. We use the standard iCalendar format, so future applications will be able to work too!
For the cutting edge, we even support the hCalendar format, so you can use Firefox plugins like Tails or Operator to extract your milestone information into iCal or Google Calendar.
